| Description | Berlucchi '61 Satèn Franciacorta: Excellence in the BottleBerlucchi '61 Satèn is a high quality Franciacorta sparkling wine, produced entirely with Chardonnay grapes, harvested in the best vineyards scattered in the 19 municipalities of Franciacorta. This wine expresses the excellence of Italian winemaking, offering an extraordinary tasting experience with its rich bouquet and balanced flavour. Production characteristicsThe grapes are harvested from the second ten days of August until the first of September, obtaining a yield of 9,000 kg of grapes per hectare. The vinification includes the alcoholic fermentation in steel vats, with a careful fractionation of the musts. The wine is therefore dosed like a Brut Satèn, offering a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. Tasting ProfilesBerlucchi '61 Satèn has an intense straw yellow colour. On the nose, it offers a rich, elegant and varied bouquet, with hints of ripe yellow tropical fruit that evolve into notes of candied citrus. On the palate, the wine is distinctly acidic and sapid, with a great structure and a rare pleasure to drink. This Franciacorta is an excellent choice for aperitifs, but it is also a perfect accompaniment to delicate risottos and fish-based dishes.
