Description | Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2017 MAgnum - Cantina PasquaThe Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2017 by Cantina Pasqua is a jewel of Veronese viticulture. With an alcohol content of 15%, this wine stands out for its intense red color and an aromatic bouquet that combines red fruits, spices, cocoa and tobacco, enriched by notes of vanilla. In the mouth, it offers a velvety and enveloping experience, thanks to its silky tannins and morello cherry aftertaste. Unique Winemaking ProcessThe vinification ofAmarone della Valpolicella 2017 begins with a manual harvest of the grapes in mid-September. This is followed by a drying period of approximately 3 months in the orchard, where the bunches lose approximately 25-30% of their weight. After pressing, the wine ferments in steel for 25-30 days at a controlled temperature, followed by maturation in French oak barriques for 18-20 months. Blend of Selected GrapesThis Amarone is produced with a careful selection of grapes: Corvina (65%), Rondinella (25%), Corvinone (5%) and Negrara (5%), coming from Valpantena, an area renowned for its winemaking quality. |
