Description | Amarone is a dry passito red wine produced exclusively in Valpolicella, a hilly area of the Veronese Pre-Alps in the Veneto region and includes the entire mountain part of Lessenia and precisely the municipalities of San Pietro in Cariano, Fumane, Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, Marano di Valpolicella, Negrar di Valpolicella, Pescantina, Sant'Anna d'Alfaede. The 39;Amarone Della Valpolicella Antonio Castagnedi DOCG "Controlled and protected designation of origin" is a red wine produced by Tenuta Sant'Antonio in the heart of Valpolicella and Soave and is made up of four different varieties of native vines Corvina, Rondinella Croatina and Oseleta and is aged in wooden barrels. Each bottle of this wine contains all the skill and knowledge care of the Castagnedi family in the art of winemaking. The color of this noble wine is a very intense ruby red with light purple reflections. The characteristic aromas of ripe dried fruit together with the spicy aromas of licorice and black pepper and the notes of chocolate make it unique and inimitable and characterize its intense character. |
