The slightly below average spring temperatures led to a slower initial budding, but this allowed an optimal productive balance for the less early varieties. The absence of rain during the harvest made it possible to harvest grapes that were ripe at the right point and of superior quality. In short, the 2021 vintage was simply splendid.

Aurea Gran Rosè is a unique and special rosé wine, which comes from experience, passion and processing of the grapes grown at an altitude of 150 meters on clayey soils and with a magnificent southern exposure. Its unmistakable elegance, mixed with a full body, is the result of a perfect union between the torroir characteristics, the careful management of the vineyard and the dedication of the human factor.

In the cellar, the bunches were checked and pressed gently in the absence of oxygen, so as not to stress the berries. After a careful selection of the musts and a decantation of at least 12 hours, fermentation took place at a controlled temperature in 600-litre French oak tonneaux, with a medium toasting and 20% new.
