| Description | Reserve Benefit 2022: A Treasure of Castello PominoThe Benefizio Riserva 2022, a refined Pomino Bianco Riserva DOC, is a wine that embodies centuries of history and tradition of the Castello Pomino estate. Founded in 1500, the estate has been recognized for its excellence since 1716 by Grand Duke Cosimo III de' Medici, positioning itself alongside illustrious names such as Chianti and Carmignano. Its history is marked by international recognition, including awards at the Universal Exhibition in Vienna in 1873 and at the Paris Expo in 1878. Unique vinification and maturationLocated at 700 meters above sea level, the Benefizio vineyard enjoys a unique microclimate, with sandy soils and optimal southern exposure. The Chardonnay grapes, harvested manually, undergo soft pressing, followed by alcoholic and partially malolactic fermentation in barriques, half new and half first passage. This process culminates in maturation on the lees with regular bâtonnage, and then concludes with refinement in the bottle, bringing the wine to its maximum expression of elegance and harmony.
