| Description | Biancolella Ischia DOC 2023: The Heart of the Island in a BottleCantine Tommasone presents the Biancolella Ischia DOC 2023, a wine jewel that contains the soul of the island of Ischia. Grown in the native vineyards scattered across the hills of Forio, this wine is the result of a thousand-year-old tradition and a passion for excellence. A Mosaic of SensationsFrom the manual harvest of Biancolella grapes, through careful vinification that includes static decantation and low temperature fermentation, a wine of extraordinary complexity is born. Its bright straw yellow color heralds a floral and fruity olfactory experience, with accents of yellow peach, banana and broom flowers. On the palate, the experience is intense and velvety, dominated by a dry and mineral taste that flows into a characteristic almond finish. With a production limited to 50,000 bottles, this Biancolella is a hymn to minerality and marine freshness, ideally served at 8-10°C. It goes wonderfully with light appetizers, fish tempura, vegetable creams and white meats, sublimely enhancing the island's typical dish, Ischian-style rabbit. |
