Description | Biancolella Ischia DOC 2023 Casa D'AmbraThe Biancolella Ischia DOC 2023 by Casa D'Ambra is an authentic representative of Ischia oenology, produced by the renowned Cantine D'Ambra Vini d'Ischia S.r.l. This white wine is obtained from grapes grown on small plots that extend from the western to the eastern sides of the island of Ischia, giving the wine a unique and distinctive character. Production area and soil characteristicsThe medium-textured volcanic soil, rich in potassium and phosphorus, provides an ideal habitat for the cultivation of the Biancolella (85%), Forastera, San Lunardo and Uva Rilla (15%) varieties. These vineyards are located at an altitude that varies between 100 and 500 meters above sea level, offering perfect climatic conditions for the ripening of the grapes. Varieties Cultivated and Type of Vine TrainingThe vines are trained with the low espalier method, typical of ancient pruning, and the guyot, on a total area of 27 hectares. The yield is approximately 70 quintals per hectare, ensuring high quality of the grapes harvested manually in the second and third ten days of September. Production and Refinement TechniqueThe Biancolella Ischia DOC 2023 is vinified in white, with cold decantation of the must and rigorous temperature control during fermentation, storage and bottling. After vinification, the wine is refined in the bottle, where it further develops its organoleptic characteristics. Tasting NotesThis wine has a bright straw yellow color, which anticipates a fruity and floral aroma, rich in aromatic nuances. On the palate, Biancolella Ischia DOC 2023 offers a dry, full and almondy flavour, delicate but persistent, which leaves a pleasant aftertaste. Gastronomic PairingsThe Biancolella Ischia DOC 2023 is a perfect accompaniment for fish dishes and delicate cheeses. Its freshness and complexity make it ideal for enhancing the flavors of the sea, as well as the delicacy of the finest cheeses. Served at the ideal temperature of 12-14°C, this wine is able to enrich every meal with its elegance and refinement. Why choose itChoosing Biancolella Ischia DOC 2023 Casa D'Ambra means opting for a wine that embodies the tradition and quality of Ischia viticulture.
