It is suitable for home vacuum storage via pasteurization and for jar-cooking in a bain-marie, but not for jar-cooking in the microwave. Some large formats are ideal for fermentation, while the smaller capacities are suitable for serving and storing original desserts and finger food. It is advisable to remove the metal ring and the gasket before putting the jars in the dishwasher or microwave.
