| Description | Wine Calafuria 2022 - Rosato I.G.T. SalentoThe Vino Calafuria 2022 is an example of excellence among the Rosé Wines, produced with skill by the renowned Cantina Tormaresca. This wine is the result of a hot and dry 2022 vintage in Salento, with a harvest that took place between August 25 and September 16. Vinification and AgingThe vinification and aging were treated in detail: the grapes, once harvested, were destemmed and delicately pressed. The must obtained was transferred to stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 12 °C for natural clarification. The alcoholic fermentation was carried out at a temperature of 16 °C, to preserve and enhance the aromatic component. Calafuria then aged for a short time in steel in contact with its lees before bottling and subsequent release on the market. Characteristics of Calafuria WineCalafuria 2022 has an alcohol content of 12.5% Vol. and is distinguished by its delicate powder pink colour. On the nose, fruity and citrus notes of pink grapefruit and orange blossom stand out, combined with delicate sensations of jasmine and linden. On the palate, it is pleasantly fresh, characterized by an excellent aromatic persistence and a delicate sapidity. Origin of Apulian WinesThis wine comes from the vineyards that extend along the Adriatic coast, near the beautiful Masseria Maìme, located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Upper Salento. Calafuria owes its name to one of the over 700 bays in Puglia and tells the scents and colors of the production area, Salento, through its delicate, pleasantly fruity, savory and ample taste.
