| Description | Cerequio Barolo DOCG from Cantine DamilanoCerequio Barolo DOCG is one of the most prized and appreciated red wines among Piedmontese wines. Produced in the heart of the Langhe, in the municipality of La Morra, this Barolo originates from an amphitheater of vineyards protected from cold winds. A Unique Expression of Terroir of the LangheThe soils from which the Cerequio Barolo DOCG is born are composed of 20% sand, 50% silt and 30% clay. This combination gives the wine a tannic, robust and powerful character. The rows are located at approximately 320 m above sea level. and are exposed to the east. This position and composition of the soil contribute to creating a wine with a rich and complex olfactory bouquet, dominated by cherry, violet, balsamic notes with refined notes of vanilla and liquorice, dried rose and tar. Characteristics of the WineCerequio Barolo DOCG has a garnet red color, which takes on orange reflections with aging.
