The Kintsugi Design Agate Gray is a modern interpretation of the ancient Japanese tradition of repairing broken porcelain. The craquelé decoration depicts a particular intriguing and original texture. The super vitrified ceramic body does not absorb stains or humidity, is very hygienic, has an excellent capacity to retain heat and an extraordinary resistance to thermal shocks. Furthermore, it has a special ECOGlaze protection which increases its yield, extends its life and protects against stains and scratches from the cutlery. The decorations are always placed under the glazing to protect and preserve them over time. The edge is completely hand decorated by skilled master decorators. Each piece is unique as the print creates variety in light and dark color tones. Founded in 1795 Churchill has been producing and creating ceramic objects in Stoke on Trent in England for 225 years.
