Cilento DOP Aglianico is one of the types of wine included in the Cilento DOP denomination. In The scope of the ampelographic composition of Cilento DOP Aglianico wine requires a minimum of 85% of Aglianico vine. The Don Vito Cilento Aglianico DOP 2017 wine Riserva is a wine produced with 100% Aglianico grapes, coming from a vineyard located in Giungano with exposure to the South and South-West. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected in the vineyard, to then be sent for pressing. Then follows a fermentation in wood at a controlled temperature, a maturation of 24 months in French oak tonneaux and a further refinement of 12 months in the bottle. The wine has a ruby ​​red color with garnet reflections and a very structured bouquet with tertiary hints from aging. The taste is dry and harmonious, it should be served at a temperature between 16° and 18° C.

It goes perfectly with white and red meats, all types of cheese and 75% dark chocolate.
