Vintage Collection Dosage Zéro is a pure and sincere vintage sparkling wine produced by Ca’ del Bosco with grapes from the Franciacorta DOCG area. The color is intense straw yellow, with a persistent and very fine perlage. On the nose, fruity aromas reminiscent of apple, apricot and peach, followed by citrus scents and notes of hazelnut and freshly baked bread. In the mouth it is full and complex with a good structure and a persistence characterized by a light and pleasant hint of bitter almonds. Dosage Zéro, no added sugar syrup.

Franciacorta is a region of Northern Italy located in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. It is a hilly area that extends between Lake Iseo and the city of Brescia, with a temperate continental climate and a good temperature range between day and night. These climatic characteristics, together with the particular properties of the soil, allow for the cultivation of high quality grapes, in particular Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco, used for the production of Franciacorta DOCG sparkling wines. Dosage Zéro makes this sparkling wine one of the most authentic on the market, capable of enhancing and enhancing the typical traits of the grapes of the vines of origin. The sweetness of the wine is determined only by the grapes of origin and the general organoleptic properties, such as the aromaticity, are those typical of the grapes without the influence of the producer in the choice of the ingredients of the ""syrup dosage"".

The 2018 production year for this sparkling wine was characterized by a cold winter, a cold and rainy spring and only in mid-July did the summer begin with temperatures above the average and a very hot August. The harvest that began on August 13th yielded beautiful, healthy and perfectly ripe grapes. Franciacorta Vintage Collection is the result of a careful selection of grapes and a skilful vinification carried out in full compliance with the Method Ca’ del Bosco.

The grapes, freshly picked by hand in small boxes, are classified and cooled. Each bunch is selected by expert eyes and hands, to then benefit from the exclusive “terme degli acini”. A particular system of washing and hydromassage of the bunches, through three soaking tanks and a drying tunnel. After 7 months from the harvest, the cuvée is created. Vintage Collection Dosage Zéro 2018 is the result of a skilful union of 26 base wines of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir which give the finished product a particular profile, pure and sincere, the result of the best expression of the terroir and of the man who has it intuition of character and potential. The dégorgement takes place in the absence of oxygen, using a unique system in the world, conceived and patented by Ca’ del Bosco.
