Emblema Aglianico Paestum IGP produced by Carlo Polito is a quality red wine made from a blend of Aglianico and Sangiovese grapes, carefully grown in the vineyards of Agropoli and Torchiara. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected before pressing. Fermentation takes place in wooden barrels at a controlled temperature, followed by a maturation phase in steel barrels. The wine is then aged in the bottle for 2 months. The end result is a quality wine that represents the winemaking tradition of the Paestum area. The IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) guarantees the consumer that the purchased product satisfies high standards of quality and tradition and that it comes from a specific geographical area.
