Negramaro"F" Salento IGP is a full and intense purple red wine produced with pure Negroamaro grapes from very ancient vines in the Feudi of San > Marzano. The scent is rich and complex with notes of spices, berries and cherry jam. Negroamaro F is a full-bodied wine, with lots of noble tannins, with a surprisingly pleasant and amabie finish. The Negroamaro F Annata 2021 is a particularly velvety and elegant wine, fleshy and very prone to aging.

Its name Negramaro (or negro amaro, negramaro) refers to its characteristic dark color of the grapes and the typical bitterish aftertaste.</p>
<p>Three vineyards, a letter affixed to the wood to identify them. <strong>F </strong>as <strong>Feudi di San Marzano</strong>, a name integral to our history. It is a very ancient vine, Negroamaro, in this expression it becomes particularly velvety and elegant, fleshy and inclined to ageing.</p>
<p><strong>F Negroamaro Salento IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) </strong>of<strong> San Marzano</strong> is a red wine produced with 100% Negroamaro grapes in the Monte La Conca district vineyards, between the territory of the municipality of San Marzano (TA) and that of Francavilla Fontana (BR). The thermal values characterize a rather warm environment, with very low annual rainfall and very high temperature ranges, a condition which has a beneficial influence on the quality of the grapes themselves.</p>
<p>The cultivation soils are of residual red earth, with a fine texture and generally with a calcareous substrate and sparse rocky outcrops. The famous red tint of these soils derives from an intense presence of iron oxides</p>
<p>After the hand-picked harvest in the last week of September, the grapes harvested in small baskets are ready for the winemaking process with destemming-crushing, pre-fermentation maceration at 8°C for 24-48 hours . Subsequently a thermo-controlled maceration and alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts for about 10 days at 24-26°C. Finally the final racking with soft presses.</p>
<p><strong>Refinement</strong> takes place with malolactic fermentation in steel and subsequent maturation in French and American oak barriques for the following 18 months.</p>
