Falanghina Campania IGP is a white wine produced with Falanghina grapes grown in the Cilento area. The straw yellow color evokes freshness. Giungano is a small fraction of the municipality of Agropoli in the province of Salerno, in the region Campania. The white wine Falanghina Campania PGI is produced with Falanghina grapes grown in the Cilento vineyards, in the municipalities of Torchiara and Rutino. The harvest begins with the hand-picked grapes, carefully selected and immediately sent for pressing. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks is at a controlled temperature. The maturation phase, always in stainless steel tanks, lasts 4 months with a subsequent refinement in glass bottles for another 2 months. The designation PGI guarantees that the wine is produced in a region specification and that respects the quality standards. The Falanghina IGP wine of Carlo Polito goes perfectly with dishes based on fish, white meats and typical cheeses.
