Description | Falanghina IGP: A Bright White Wine with a Fascinating CharacterCharacteristics of the WineOur Falanghina IGP is a bright white wine with a straw yellow colour. Its aromatic spectrum is imbued with calibrated and obstinate fruity essences, among which apricot, banana, pineapple and apple stand out. These notes are intersected by voluptuous cadences of broom, menthol, balsam, eucalyptus, pine needles and cloves, as well as collusive mineral traces. The sip is sharp, graceful and elegant, fleshed out by seductive savory and dynamic effects, and corroborated by silky, reactive and harmonious incidences. The wine ends with a hedonistic and persistent final phrasing. Winification and AgingThis wine is produced from 100% Falanghina grapes, hand-picked from plants with an average age of 19 years. The grapes undergo soft pressing and fermentation takes place in steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine ages in steel tanks for 6 months, to obtain a soft texture and a harmonious flavour. Pairings and ServiceOur Falanghina IGP is an extremely versatile in terms of combinations. It pairs beautifully with dishes of linguine with sea urchins, sautéed clams, buffalo mozzarella and sautéed vegetables. The recommended serving temperature is 12 degrees. With an alcohol content of 13%, this white wine is perfect for an aperitif, a fish menu or to accompany an outdoor summer dinner. |
