Fior del Vento Sangue di Giuda is a sparkling red wine that embodies the essence of the Oltrepò Pavese area. Coming from the splendid Solinga valley in Canneto Pavese, this wine is a sensorial experience that fascinates with its unique characteristics and perfect balance.
The grapes, mainly Croatina, Barbera and Uva Rara, are grown in vineyards on steep slopes facing south, in a sandy-pebbly soil which gives the wine its distinctive character. Winemaking takes place using traditional methods: the grapes are harvested by hand, destemmed and pressed, followed by a short maceration in temperature-controlled tanks. The fermentation is then stopped at cold to preserve the desired residual sugar, and the wine is subsequently transferred to an autoclave for refermentation.
