| Description | Franciacorta Brut DOCG by Ferghettina - Pack of 6 BottlesFranciacorta, a wine gem of Lombardy, is renowned for the production of fine sparkling wines , elaborated according to the classic method, similar to the Champagne method. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the main grape varieties selected for these luxury wines. These sparkling wines are distinguished by their dryness, lively acidity and sophisticated aromas. The Franciacorta Brut DOCGin particular, stands out for its fine and persistent bubbles, a fruity bouquet and a dry, revitalizing flavour. It is the perfect choice to accompany appetizers, fish, shellfish and delicate cheeses. The production process of Franciacorta Brut DOCG from the Ferghettina winery is meticulous and artisanal. The harvested grapes are carefully pressed to obtain superior quality free-run must, while the second pressing must is not used. After fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, the base wine is stored until the spring following harvest. Subsequently, the wine is bottled with selected yeasts and sugar, starting fermentation secondary. During this period, the wine undergoes remuage and degorgement to ensure clarity and finesse. After at least 18 months of aging in the bottle, Franciacorta Brut DOCG is ready to delight the most demanding palates. Founded in 1971, Ferghettina is a symbol of excellence and sustainability in the world viticulture.
