In the heart of the prestigious Bolgheri denomination, Il Bruciato 2023 stands out for its vibrant expression of freshness and fruit. Characterized by a particular climatic vintage, with a long absence of rain followed by beneficial summer rainfall, this wine reflects a perfect balance between sugars and acidity, elements that define its structure and the pleasure of sipping.

2023 saw a preview of the phases in Bolgheri phenological, from early budding to accelerated maturation, up to a harvest that began with Merlot at the end of August and ended with Cabernet Sauvignon at the end of September. This cycle allowed us to obtain grapes with excellent ripeness, emphasizing freshness rather than power in the final wine.

Winemaking: Precision Meets Art

The careful selection of the grapes, followed by controlled fermentation and maceration, has allowed us to preserve the varietal aromas and obtain a well-structured wine. The malolactic fermentation, partly in barrique and partly in steel, has further enriched the complexity of Bruciato, preparing the wine for refinement in barrique which has defined its character.
