It is obtained from Aglianico grapes grown in the Vulture area, where the volcanic soil gives the wine a distinctive character. Production DetailsThe Aglianico Repertoire of Vulture DOC 2016 is a red wine 100% Aglianico del Vulture. The grapes are harvested manually in boxes in the second/third ten days of October, during the crucial ripening phase. The winemaking involves maceration for approximately 10 days and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel, following a more traditional approach. Subsequently, the wine matures in natural caves of volcanic tuff, in French oak barrels or tonneaux, for at least 12 months, giving the wine aromatic complexity and tannic structure.
