| Description | Jungano Aglianico IGP 2020 Cantina San Salvatore 1988: Set of 6 BottlesWine CharacteristicsThe Jungano Aglianico IGP 2020 by Cantina San Salvatore 1988 stands out for its intense ruby red color and purple reflections. On the nose, it opens with an intense bouquet of red fruit, enriched by elegant notes of sweet spices and cinnamon. On the palate, the wine is broad and velvety, with a pleasantly long and persistent finish. Winification and RefinementThe "Jungano" comes from organically grown Aglianico grapes. These grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand, ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months mainly in French oak barrels and for the remainder in steel. Finally, it is bottled and remains to refine for another 6 months, perfecting its organoleptic characteristics. Sensory NotesThe Jungano Aglianico IGP 2020 has a bright and shiny fiery red color. The olfactory tone is flooded with ethereal fruity perceptions of morello cherries, plums, currants and raspberries, as well as hints of red flowers. Then emerge strong spicy notes and tertiary moods of incense, tobacco, coffee, menthol, balsam and empyreumatic notes. On the palate, the wine offers a textural and melting consistency, supported by excellent acidity. The ripe and engaging tannins contribute to a sumptuous, exuberant, intriguing and complacent tasting experience, culminating in a perfectly balanced finish. Pairings and ServiceThe Jungano Aglianico IGP 2020 is an ideal wine to serve on roast meat dishes, elaborate sauces and mature cheeses. The recommended serving temperature is 16-18°. With an alcohol content of 14.5%, this wine is perfect for special occasions or to enhance a refined dinner. |
