The Crena Barbera D'Asti DOCG BIO 2020 by Vietti is a wine that expresses the essence of the Piedmontese territory. Produced with Barbera grapes grown in the historic vineyard of La Crena, located in the municipality of Agliano Terme, this wine represents a perfect balance between tradition and innovation. The vines, planted on silty-clayey soils and trained in Guyot with an average density of 4,800 plants per hectare, are exposed to the south, guaranteeing optimal ripening of the grapes and giving the wine an extraordinary aromatic complexity.

The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel vats open for about 2 weeks, with mechanical fungusing, "délestage" and frequent pumping over in the open air, to favor the extraction of the noble components from the skins. Subsequently, the wine undergoes post-fermentation maceration and is then aged for 18 months in a combination of barriques, barrels and steel, which help to enhance the structure and elegance of the Barbera. The result is an ORGANIC wine with a unique profile, which combines power and freshness in a harmonious way.

In the glass, La Crena shows an intense and bright ruby ​​red color. On the nose, it opens with aromas of ripe red fruit, such as blackberry and cherry, accompanied by delicate spicy notes.
