| Description | Leonia Pomino Brut 2021 - Vintage Classic MethodThe Leonia Pomino Brut 2021 sparkling wine is an elegant expression of the Classic Method of the historic Frescobaldi estate. A refined blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, born in the Pomino DOC, pays homage to the audacious vision of great-great-grandmother Leonia, who introduced French vines to the Florentine Hills, obtaining prestigious awards already in 1878. 2021 is It was an ideal year: a cool spring guaranteed perfect fruit set, while the dry summer allowed the harvest of healthy and aromatic grapes. Harvested by hand in small boxes, the grapes undergo delicate pressing to extract only the heart of the berry. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature, with a small part in wood. After the cuvée assembly, the wine ferments in the bottle with a long aging on the yeasts of 30 months. Leonia Brut 2021 presents a brilliant straw yellow and a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it offers a complex and delicate bouquet, with notes of grapefruit, orange peel, yellow fruit, white flowers and broom, accompanied by hints of pastry, bread crust, dried fruit and honey. On the palate it is creamy, savory and fresh, with a long and persistent finish that enhances its elegance. Main Features
