Macchiusanelle is produced in the historic wine region of Campania, specifically in Castelvetere sul Calore, in the province of Avellino. Here, the vines are grown in clay-limestone soil which gives the wine a unique personality, while the Avellino pergola training practice, with 1800 plants per hectare, guarantees superior quality of the grapes.
The winemaking takes place through fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by a 12-day maceration at uncontrolled temperatures. The refinement in steel barrels for 12 months further enriches the taste profile of this wine, making it particularly interesting for enthusiasts.
