In this strip of land, at the foot of the <strong>Mèrcori</strong> peak (1788 m), in the <strong>Parco</strong> <strong>National</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Cilento</strong>, among uncontaminated woods and generous lands, a young girl, <strong>Francesca</strong> <strong>Fiasco</strong>, retracing the footsteps of her grandparents, begins her path of <strong >vinedresser</strong> with the intimate awareness that a great wine is born, first of all, in the vineyard. <em>""His stories, with the proud eyes of someone who has experienced ninety vintages and his inseparable life companion, they gently seduced me to continue their work".</em></p><p><strong>Mèrcori Paestum Rosso IGP</strong> (Protected Geographical Indication) is a red wine produced by <strong>'Farm Francesca Fiasco</strong>. A natural blend of Aglianicone, Cabernet Sauvignon, Aglianico, Sangiovese and Barbera grapes, all produced in our own vineyards. The production soils, of <span>limestone nature, have a strong presence of clayey, marly and detrital sediments </span>. </p><p>The <strong>2016< /strong> began with the harvest on October 10th. The vinification took place in French oak vats with a maceration of the skins for 20 days, punching down and pumping over. The refinement in tannoux for 50% of the first passage and 50% of the second passage lasted 24 months; followed by aging and subsequent refinement in glass for 8 months.
