| Description | MILLEDÌ FRANCIACORTA BRUT DOCG MAGNUM - 2019 - FERGHETTINAFranciacorta is a wine area located in the Lombardy, in Northern Italy, famous for the production of sparkling wines made with the traditional method, similar to that used in Champagne. The only grape variety used in Franciacorta DOOG Milledì wines is Chardonnay. The vinification of Franciacorta Brut DOCG Milledì involves the use of only whole bunch pure Chardonnay grapes which are pressed with a pneumatic press at very delicate pressures. During vinification, the musts are separated into two fractions: the flower must, which has the best qualitative characteristics, is used for the production of Franciacorta, while the second pressing must is not destined for bottling. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 16 and 18 °C. The base wine rests in the tank until the spring following the harvest. Franciacorta DOCG (Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin) guarantees that the wine meets the strict quality and production criteria established by the local authorities. Franciacorta Brut DOCG Milledì is characterized by a fine and persistent bubble, with a fruity aroma and a dry and fresh. It's an excellent accompaniment to appetizers, fish, shellfish and fresh cheeses. The square bottle of Franciacorta Brut DOCG ""Milledì"" is a unique feature of the producer. The square shape of the bottle was chosen to distinguish itself from the traditional bottles used for Franciacorta and to create a strong and distinctive image for the product.
