| Description | Nipozzano Vecchie Viti 2021 - Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCGThe Nipozzano Vecchie Viti 2021 is a Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG of rare elegance and complexity, produced from the oldest vines of the Castello di Nipozzano, historical symbol of the Frescobaldi family. The deep roots of the vines, combined with the maturation of 24 months in oak barrels, give this wine a refined structure and an authentic expression of the Tuscan territory. The vintage 2021 was characterized by a balanced climate trend. After a mild winter and a cool spring, the May rains have reinvigorated the vines. The dry summer favored controlled water stress, guaranteeing perfect ripening of the grapes, rich in aromas and colour. The result is a vigorous and dynamic wine, an authentic expression of the Nipozzano terroir. In the glass it has an intense and brilliant ruby red. On the nose it offers a complex and elegant bouquet, with aromas of red and black fruits, accompanied by floral notes of violet and rose. The balsamic nuances and delicate spices complete the aromatic profile. On the palate, the balance between freshness and alcoholic component is perfect, with a mature tannin that gives structure and envelops the palate.
