The Orvieto Secco DOC Bio 2023 of the Mottura Winery is a white wine that best expresses tradition wine production in the area between Umbria and Lazio. Produced exclusively with Procanico and Grechetto grapes from the company-owned vineyards located in the municipality of Civitella d’Agliano, this wine is a perfect combination of freshness and aromatic complexity. With its STELVIN screw cap, designed to preserve the integrity and authenticity of the product, Orvieto Secco Bio is a wine that combines innovation and respect for the environment, representing an excellence of the territory.

The grapes are grown on soils with a volcanic composition, part of the complex of the Vulsini Mountains and Lake Bolsena, with a texture that sees 40% of clay, 40% sand and 20% silt, characteristics that give the wine minerality and structure. The manual harvesting and selection of the grapes, carried out in the first half of September for Grechetto and in the first half of October for Procanico, guarantee the maximum quality of the final product. Fermentation takes place in steel, followed by a 6-month refinement in contact with the fine lees, to enhance the complexity and aromatic persistence of the wine.

In the glass, Orvieto Secco presents itself with a bright straw yellow and greenish reflections. On the nose, it releases fragrant and fresh aromas, with floral and fruity notes reminiscent of white flowers and green apple, accompanied by delicate mineral nuances.
