Although it is a vine that does not easily adapt to all conditions, it represents an exciting challenge both in the vineyard and in the cellar. This Pinot Noir Trentino DOC 2022 from St. Michael Eppan is a true emblem of South Tyrol, a region in which it develops its full potential. Unique Organoleptic CharacteristicsThe color of the wine is an intense garnet red and its structure is elegant and full. The olfactory notes are delicate, with hints of red berries and berries that blend into a refined perfume. The taste is delicate, elegant, fruity and spicy, a combination that reflects the unmistakable character of this fine wine. Production and VinificationComing from the vineyards located in Appiano and Caldaro (400-550 m), with south-south-east and south-west exposure, this wine is produced on morainic deposits and gravel soils with calcareous content. The harvest takes place from the beginning to mid-September, with manual harvesting and selection of the grapes. Vinification then takes place in steel containers, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging in large wooden barrels. Pairing AdvicePinot Noir Trentino DOC 2022 is ideal with dishes such as mutton and kid, veal liver, stewed roasts and aged cheeses. The ideal serving temperature is between 14-16°. Thanks to its aging potential, this wine can be stored for 4 to 6 years, during which time it continues to develop its complex flavor nuances.
