The Pinot Noir Vallarom 2021 is a splendid expression of this international grape variety, produced in the heart of Vallagarina, in the province of Trento. This wine tells the story of Pinot Noir in an ideal mountain territory, masterfully interpreted by Filippo Scienza, owner, agronomist and oenologist of the Vallarom winery. Dedication to organic viticulture and respect for the environment are the basis of the production philosophy of this winery, which stands out for its quality. and the elegance of its wines.

Wine Characteristics

The Vallarom Pinot Noir is produced with 100% Pinot Noir grapes, coming from 30-40 year old vineyards grown on dolomitic limestone soils. The vines are trained with the traditional Trentino pergola method and partly with the Guyot pruned espalier method. The grapes, harvested by hand, are vinified in steel tanks, with a maceration of approximately 10 days in contact with the skins. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine matures for 14 months in barrique and subsequently refines for 24 months in the bottle.

The Pinot Noir Vallarom 2021 presents itself in the glass with a bright garnet red color. On the nose, it releases fresh aromas of black cherry, crunchy red fruits and cherries in alcohol, accompanied by notes of light spices, vanilla and dried fruit.
