Description | San Michele di Serino, a municipality in the province of Avellino in Campania, is the seat of Villa Raiano , a winery that saw the light in 1996 in the Raiano hamlet. The modern cellar was built in 2009, located on top of a hill in the territory of the municipality of San Michele di Serino, at the foot of Mount Terminio, surrounded by vineyards and chestnut woods, with a panoramic terrace that offers a view of the valley River Saturday. Each bottle is unique and tells the story of the Irpinia area, characterized by a variety of altitudes, microclimates and soils. Ripa Bassa Brut Spumante Classic Method, produced with Fiano grapes and Greco, fermented in the bottle according to the classic method and aged for at least 24 months on the lees. It has a pale yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, austere and gentle with aromas of fresh bread, white fruit, mineral and mentholated notes. In the mouth, it is fine and pleasant, perfectly balanced, with integrated bubbles and a nice acidity that enhances the freshness.
