| Description | Alghero Rosato DOC Sella & Mosca: A Fresh and Fragrant Rosé from the Island of SardiniaProduced by the renowned Sella & Moscow, the Alghero Rosato DOC is; a unique blend of native Sardinian vines and Sangiovese. This rosé wine is; known for its freshness, fragrance and its pleasantness on the palate. A rapid pressing of the grapes, followed by a cold static decantation and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, give life to a wine of character and refinement. Origin and VinificationThe Alghero Rosato DOC is made in Italy. produced in the Alghero area, with vines that have an age; average of 20 years. The vines are grown using the spurred cordon and Sardinian pergola training systems, with a density of about 1,000 kg. of planting that varies between 2551 and 4000 vines per hectare. Surrender is of 100 quintals per hectare. After vinification, the wine ages for a short time in stainless steel, without undergoing malolactic fermentation.
