| Description | Oval pig cocotte "Gli Speciali" Line by Staub made of Black laquered cast iron. Dimensions cm 17 - 6 5/8''. Capacity lt 1 - 1 qt. Brass or nickel knob, oven safe up to 250°C. Each piece is one of a kind and is the result of a long tradition of manufacturing process, of great value and of highest quality. The shape of the mold lid is flat and allows a continuous and uniform diffusion of moisture inside the pot throughout the long and slow cooking process. The handles, distinguishing and ergonomic, are adjusted to a comfortable and secure grip. The Staub Cocotte are designed to retain 10% more of steam than the similar products and is 9 times more efficient thanks to the presence of a series of half-spheres over the entire flat surface of the lid. The interior of the pot has a high quality black glaze, totally compatible with food cooking and is highly resistant to thermal shocks, wear and cleaning. The "Majolica" glazes, 100% made up of glass, have an extraordinary intensity and colour depth. The Cocotte are compatible with all stovetops, including induction ones. Made in France. |
