| Description | Terre Siciliane IGT Syrah 2021 Cusumano - An Authentic Expression of SicilyCusumano is known for producing wines that capture the essence of Sicily and the Terre Siciliane IGT Syrah 2021 is no exception. This dry red wine is born in the vineyards of the famous company, located in the San Giacomo area, in the province of Caltanissetta. Winemaking and AgingMade entirely with Syrah grapes, harvested manually in the last ten days of August, the must is left to cold macerate for 2 days at 5°C. The temperature then rises to 27-28°C during the fermentation phase, followed by the malolactic fermentation. The wine then remains on the fine lees for about 5 months, to enrich its structure and body, and then concludes the refinement in the bottle. Wine characteristicsCusumano's Syrah has an impenetrable ruby red color that reflects its richness and intensity. On the nose, intense sensations of cherry and plum are expressed, accompanied by very intriguing delicate spices. In the mouth, the wine is warm and full, with a subtle presence of the tannic component that balances its structure. The finish has a pleasant persistence, leaving a trace of aromas and flavors on the palate.
