Description | Braida winery is one of the most important wineries in Piedmont. Founded in 1961 by Giacomo Bologna, it was subsequently led by his son Beppe, who transformed the company into one of the most renowned in the region. Today the management has passed to the third generation, represented by the children Giuseppe and Raffaella, who continue to carry on the family tradition. The winery is located in the heart of Monferrato, in the hills of Rocchetta Tanaro, and is surrounded by Barbera and Moscato vineyards. The company stands out for the craftsmanship in the production of its wines and for the use of modern and innovative techniques. Il Baciale with the denomination Monferrato Rosso DOC from Cantina Braida is a wine with a fruity and spicy character, obtained from a blend of Barbera, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, carefully selected to enhance their organoleptic characteristics. The view is welcomed by an intense ruby red color, which anticipates an intense and spicy aroma, with hints of cinnamon, blackberry and plum, which blend harmoniously with notes of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is warm and elegant, with a medium structure and balanced tannins, which blend perfectly with the fruity and spicy scents, giving the sip an extraordinary aromatic complexity. Baciale Monferrato Rosso DOC 2018 is the ideal wine to accompany traditional dishes, such as braised meats, roasts and game, but it also goes perfectly with aged cheeses, in short, Baciale Monferrato Rosso DOC 2018 from Cantina Braida is a wine with a unique personality, which embodies in itself; the aromatic complexity of four different grape varieties, harmoniously combining fruity and spicy notes, in a warm and elegant sip.
