Description | Tignanello Toscana IGT 2000 Cantine Marchesi AntinoriProductionThe Marchesi Antinori winery stood out for the careful selection of the grapes used for the creation of Tignanello Toscana IGT 2000, a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet. The bunches are chosen on the basis of precise criteria, such as the degree of exposure to the sun and the robustness of the plants. After harvesting, only the finest grapes, ready to express their maximum potential, are fermented with care, at a controlled temperature between 27 and 31°C to preserve the olfactory sensations and capacity of the fruit to the maximum. . Following the alcoholic fermentation and the racking operation, the wines are transferred to oak barrels for malolactic fermentation. Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wines are blended and left to rest for 12 months in barriques, periodically undergoing decanting and tasting barrique by barrique until bottling. Finally, before being put on the market, the Tignanello ages for a further year in the bottle. Notes organolepticTignanello Toscana IGT 2000 has an intense ruby red colour.
