The Vette Sauvignon Blanc by Tenuta San Leonardo is a mountain wine of great freshness and minerality. With a lively straw yellow hue and aromas of white pulp fruit, white flowers and vegetal notes, it offers a fresh and mineral taste, enriched by the complex minerality of the mountains from which it comes.

Vette owes its name to the imposing peaks that frame the vineyards from which it originates. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is a testimony to the passion and tradition of the Guerrieri Gonzaga family, who since 1724 has enhanced the agricultural vocation of this corner of Trentino.

Winemaking

After a rigorous manual harvest, the bunches were subjected to 12 hours of cold maceration, allowing greater extraction of the primary aromas. Soft pressing preceded a fermentation of approximately 20 days. The refinement, which lasted 5 months, took place exclusively in stainless steel, in contact with the yeasts.

Organoleptics and Pairings

The Sauvignon Vette has a yellow color straw yellow and greenish reflections . The sense of smell is surrounded by notes of limoncina herb, artemisia, lime tree and accents of cedar and exotic fruit. On the palate, it manifests itself with a citrus freshness and a flavor that culminates in a long mineral echo. Perfect for a refined aperitif, it pairs beautifully with fish dishes, soft cheeses and seafood recipes. Not to be missed with gnocchi, tuna and parsley.
