Via del Campo Falanghina Irpinia Doc 2022 Quintodecimo

Via Del Campo Irpinia Falanghina DOP is a high quality white wine, obtained from the single-variety vinification of Falanghina grapes grown in the Irpinia region . The color of the wine is a golden yellow hue and the nose perceives notes of apple, pineapple, aromatic herbs and wild flowers, accompanied by refined salty and mineral tones. In the mouth, the enveloping structure releases delicate mentholated and toasted sensations also deriving from the short stay, during fermentation, in small oak barrels. The wine is of immediate pleasure when young but evolves into an even more complex bouquet after a few years in the bottle.

The Quintodecimo farm, located in the Irpinia region, produces three unique and quality white wines, obtained from the single-variety vinification of the three main white grape varieties from Campania: Fiano, Greco and Falanghina. The grapes used for the production of the wines come from three individual vineyards called Exultet, Giallo D’Arles and Via Del Campo. The Via Del Campo vineyard, located in Mirabella Eclano, was planted in a particularly suitable site for a full expression of the enological potential of the Falanghina grape. White wines of Quintodecimo are therefore three single-varietal Crus, greatly influenced by the vintage in the expression of their varietal character and by the Irpino terroir which gives them a particular minerality and lots of freshness.

Via Del Campo Irpinia Falanghina DOC, perfectly expresses all the fruity and mineral character of Falanghina, obtained exclusively with grapes from a single Falanghina vineyard located in Mirabella Eclano. The excellence of Quintodecimo wines is given by the use of high quality grapes grown in the chosen land of the varieties and by the meticulous care in the vinification.
