| Description | Mirabella Eclano is a municipality located in the province of Avellino, in Campania, Italy. It is a city located in the heart of the DOCG Taurasi area (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita), one of the most prestigious Italian wine denominations. This is where the Quintodecimo winery is located, which produces some of the area's finest wines, in particular the Vigna Grande Cerzito Taurasi DOCG Riserva. p> The area of Mirabella Eclano is characterized by a temperate and cool climate, with abundant rains and strong temperature variations, thanks to the proximity of the Apennine ridge. The landscape is very impressive, with mountains covered in chestnut, beech and oak woods. This unique environment has created the ideal conditions for the cultivation of the Aglianico vine, from which the Taurasi DOCG is produced. The Quintodecimo winery is located in this area, in the splendid area by Mirabella Eclano. Here, the company is dedicated to the production of high quality wines, in particular the Vigna Grande Cerzito Taurasi DOCG Riserva, a red wine produced with Aglianico grapes. Vigna Grande Cerzito Taurasi DOCG Riserva di Quintodecimo is a wine produced from a cru of one hectare of land where Aglianico was planted in 2004 on the southern slope of the estate. The soil in which the vines grow is volcanic in nature, not calcareous, deep and well drained, with a coarse texture which favors a high availability of oxygen for the roots. Vigna Grande Cerzito is much appreciated for its power and elegance, with its refined aromas and its fleshy and delicate sip. This wine is very long-lived and becomes even more refined and elegant over the years.
