The Villa Antinori Bianco 2023 is a white wine that best expresses the winemaking tradition of the Antinori family. Produced in Tuscany, this IGT wine is the result of a harvest influenced by a climate characterized by frequent rainfall and drops in temperature in spring, followed by a hot and dry summer. These conditions allowed optimal development of the bunches, culminating in a harvest that saw the Pinot Grigio begin in the last week of August, continuing with the Pinot Bianco and the Riesling Renano in September, and ending with the Trebbiano Toscano in early October .

Wine Characteristics

Villa Antinori Bianco has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, the wine offers an intense and fine bouquet, where fruity aromas of pineapple, Golden apple and banana prevail, harmoniously combined with delicate notes of orange blossom. On the palate, it is fresh and enveloping, with a pleasant tension and a mineral finish that enhances its complexity.

Winemaking Process

The harvested grapes are destemmed and delicately pressed. The must obtained is cooled to a temperature of 10°C to promote natural clarification. After 48 hours, the must is transferred to stainless steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation takes place at a temperature not exceeding 18°C. Subsequently, the wine is stored in steel tanks at 10°C until bottling, which took place from January 2024. This process preserves the freshness and aromatic integrity of the wine.

Historical Data

Villa Antinori Bianco represents one of the historic wines of the Antinori family, produced for the first time in 1931 by Niccolò Antinori. Since then, the label has remained practically unchanged, a symbol of a tradition that continues to proudly represent the land of origin.
