Aglianico

The Aglianico wine is produced from the Aglianico vine of the same name, an ancient black grape variety, grown mainly in southern Italy, especially in Basilicata and Campania. Aglianico is a wine with a deep red color and offers a complex bouquet of aromas: ripe red and black fruits such as plums and blackberries, notes of chocolate, tobacco and leather, enriched by a pleasant spicy aftertaste. Considered one of the best Wines from Campania, thanks to its tannic richness and lively acidity, Aglianico is Pairs beautifully with rich, flavorful foods. It is ideal with robust meat dishes, such as braised meats, stews, game or for important first courses. Also perfect with mature cheeses and dishes rich in aromatic herbs, which complement its complexity. A good Aglianico can transform a meal into a refined and memorable gastronomic experience.
