Fiano

The Fiano wine is produced from the vine of the same name, Fiano, a white grape native to southern Italy, especially widespread in Campania and parts of Puglia and Sicily. Fiano wine is an elegant and aromatic white wine, known for its intense aroma and an important structure. Fiano di Avellino DOCG is one of the most famous examples of wine produced from this vine.

Gustatory, Fiano is a wine that offers a range of aromas that include notes of white-fleshed fruit such as peach and pear, floral accents and often a distinctive hint of hazelnuts on the palate. It is also known for a pleasant mineral aftertaste that develops with aging.

For pairings, Fiano wine goes perfectly with fish and seafood dishes, enhancing the freshness of the ingredients with its balanced acidity. It is also excellent with buffalo mozzarella and other fresh cheeses. For a local pairing, it can be served with typical Campania dishes such as pizza, seafood dishes or vegetable appetizers.
